AAI, in collaboration with the African Agriculture Adaptation Initiative (AAA) Foundation, organised a launch forum of the APIA Programme in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, from 3 to 5 July 2024, at the Tour Hassan Palace Hotel.

Over the period of the 6th to the 8th of February, the Pan-African Forum on Mobilizing and structuring Climate Adaptation Finance took place in Lome Togo. The participants discussed the successes and challenges of #COP28 UAE, emphasising the importance of climate modelling and micro-insurance in supporting climate-resilient agriculture and ensuring food security.

From the 30th of November to 13th of December 2023, AAI was in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the largest UN Climate Change Conference ever. Increasing awareness of Africa’s climate adaptation key issues and advocating for more effective action.
