Over the period of the 6th to the 8th of February, the Pan-African Forum on Mobilizing and structuring Climate Adaptation Finance took place in Lome Togo. The participants discussed the successes and challenges of #COP28 UAE, emphasising the importance of climate modelling and micro-insurance in supporting climate-resilient agriculture and ensuring food security.

From the 30th of November to 13th of December 2023, AAI was in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the largest UN Climate Change Conference ever. Increasing awareness of Africa’s climate adaptation key issues and advocating for more effective action.

A Pan-African forum that brought together National Designated Authorities (NDAs) from 23 countries participating in the Pan-African Readiness led by the Africa Adaptation Initiative (AAI) was held from 23rd to 25th May in Lomé, Togo.
